Objective

The goal of cancer research is to identify the quality and characteristics of routinely-available cancer information and to assess how cancer networks can use this information for evaluation of multi-disciplinary teams.

Cancer researchers aim to:
- discover and treat new types of cancers
- find ways to treat and cure current cancers
- research plants and other natural resources to create new medications
- research cancer statistics
- develop proof of what causes different types of cancers and ways to prevent them.

How This Works

When sufficient funds are raised, the Student Committee will open a grant. Charities devoted to cancer research can submit an application to receive the grant. The students and Student Committee of Hogwarts will rank the applications and award the grant to the charity with the highest vote.
